Photographs of Plants & Product Listings

Please bear in mind that we are working with nature and that each and every plant image used on this website is indicative of the variety of plant you will receive and not a guarantee of shape or colour of the individual plant delivered. Mother Nature and the weather takes control of each and every one of our plants and whilst we do all that we can to ensure every plant is robust and beautiful, we cannot guarantee that the plant you choose will look exactly like the photograph shown. (But hey, that's all part of the fun of a new plant baby arriving, eh?).

Please also bear in mind seasonal fluctuations in sizes, plants that are purchased outside of their natural growing period may be slightly smaller.

We try to provide an accurate representation of the plants and products that we sell, however please note that the photographs and descriptions are for use as a guide only. The products inevitably will vary to that shown as we cannot photograph every individual plant that is shipped.

Plant maturity will where possible be represented in the product illustrations, however where more than one size is available to purchase the plant you receive may look quite different.

If a plant size is not available we may, at our discretion, provide a bigger plant at no additional cost to you.

The plant size provided in the product listing is approximate, whilst including the full length of the stem, foliage and depth of the plant pot (inc roots) - not just from the top of the soil.

We reserve the right to change/increase prices and remove special offers at any time.

All prices on this website include VAT where applicable. Our VAT number is GB432410148 (Houseplant.co.uk Trading Under Houseplant Ltd).

If, by mistake we have not listed the correct price, we will not be liable to supply goods to you at the listed price, but must notify you that we are exercising our right to cancel and will refund your order in full before dispatch has taken place.

We take payment upon receipt of your order. Where a payment is withheld by the payment provider, we reserve the right to withhold dispatch until funds are cleared and received by us.

Ceramic & Decorative Pots

Whilst we take every effort to ensure our pot sizes are accurate both on nursery pots and decorative pots, growers use many different nursery pot suppliers and there can be some minor size fluctuations of nursery plant pots in both diameter and depth, therefore we cannot guarantee an exact fit of our plants to decorative pots.

All of our pots are measured in-house, with the aim of nursery pots fitting inside the decorative pot without being able to see the lip of the nursery pot. The only exception to this is where a plant is provided in a hanging pot or with a free pot hanger. This is due to the hanging pot having a lip that the hanger clips onto. We advise you to choose a decorative pot at least 1cm bigger when choosing a decorative pot for a hanging plant. Further to this, hanging pots or pots with free pot hangers are typically not as deep as a non-hanging nursery pots which can cause your plant to sit inside the chosen decorative pot. In this instance you may wish to consider either repotting a plant into a standard nursery pot if you wish it to be displayed on a shelf rather than hung. You may also choose to prop the nursery pot up higher in your chosen decorative pot with a material such as gravel or an unused, smaller nursery pot on-end positioned inside your decorative pot to create a little extra lift.
