Pupukea is a spectacular plant when in flower. It is not unusual for the branching spikes to produce a prolific spray of fragrant lemon lime flowers with white tips which have a pleasing aroma of chocolate. Please note these orchids can have black spots on the leaves but are no cause for concern.

Oncidium orchids require a little more water than moth orchids - needing the soil to be kept evenly moist, whilst allowing the top third of soil to dry out between waterings. Reduce watering over the winter whilst it is in it's dormancy period. Feed when showing active new leaf or bud growth. Avoid draughty spots.
