This was my first order. I wanted a pet safe house plant and decided on two species of spider plant, Lemon and Hawaiian. They arrived promptly, were packed securely. They are very fresh , lots of growth and really worth their value. I have them hanging, so hopefully my two cats won't nibble them !

Awful customer service

My order placed on 15th Aug finally arrived on 29th Aug. I emailed photos of the Mother of Thousands, it was rotted at the base & all the leaves had fallen off. Despite issues with the Couriers DX I requested another plant by a different courier ( Royal Mail) but customer service said that wasn't possible as they only used DX. I was offered a 35% discount & advice how to propagate the leaves !! Finally got a refund & that they had assessed my photos incorrectly. Will never use this company again. Beware !!!

Wish i new about Hosueplant UK earlier as i have spent a lot of money online with other companies and found the quality a mixed bag. This is my first order but the plants I received are of excellent quality and the so incredibly wrapped. Delivery was a little frustrating with DX as they delivered to me the my buildings post boxes which ins't very secure and not my flat but i was notified with a picture of delivery so i was able to track it down.

Love this company. Always have what I need online. So helpful anytime I have emailed and asked advice I’ve gotten a reply very quickly. Delivery driver is great too always gets my goodies to me bang in time. Lovely selection of plants which are delivered quickly and fresh. My latest was string of pearls and I love 🥰. Just love I can get bags of soil delivered to my door and as I stay on a 2nd floor flat this really helps.

Perfectly packaged, no damage whatsoever. I waited a few days before repotting as suggested. They’re all now very happy indoors until the Spring when they can go out into the glasshouse to enjoy the sun and hopefully flower!

After our cat had to go...

After our cat had to go to a foster home while we were in a temporary place that didn't allow cats, his foster carer had an Areca Palm that he loved. As a welcome home present, we bought one to help him settle in. We love it as much as he does. I have a great and positive experience ordering with Houseplant.co.uk. I am a regular at ordering plants online and order from a number of online providers. I have to say on my experience with Houseplant.co.uk, my two small kalanchoe succulent plants both came individually wrapped very well, easy for me to unwrap without losing any leaves, as this succulent can be fragile. Both plants were bright coloured and healthy soil was moist on arrival. Will order again in the future great customer experience

I ordered an orchid and pot. The pot came entirely smashed and several flowers fell off the orchid. I’ve emailed the company twice, DMd on Instagram and commented on one of their posts. They deleted the comment on their Instagram, but haven’t replied to any of my messages.

Great experience and an amazing selection of plants to select from. Delivery was also spot on and the plants were well wrapped/covered. The only critism is that some of the plants weren't in the best condition with regards to being trimmed and a good shape, specifically a Monkey Mask and a Boston Fern. Personally I put this down to pick of the bunch but depends what plants you get. Overall, great experience and amazing additions to the house, will be buying again for sure.

When I contacted the company to complain they responded quickly and I am happy with how the issue has been resolved. Lovely plants and excellent customer service. My order had some absolutely gorgeous plants but a couple were damaged due to frosts when they were being shipped. Customer service email was detailed and fair, offering a replacement for one of the plants and a partial refund for the other. All plants arrived well packed, with moist soil & some new growth. Will happily order again knowing this company makes it right when they are mistakes and unfortunate circumstances. Also, the plants are seriously gorgeous.

Terrible company, totally deceived with the size of the plants they were sending. Most were close to half the size that I had paid for. Emailed for support and a week later no reply. I have had 4 separate promotional emails since then and one asking for a review, so here you are. Really bad value, can get stuff much healthier and larger for the same money in the supermarket or at a market. Attached a photo if the plant they sent (small one) next to one I already had that was the size that they were supposed to send.

Website is clear, with enough information to allow me to make a choice - but not overwhelming for a novice like me. Delivery was quick - slightly delayed as they hold back to avoid plants being stuck mid delivery over the weekend, which is sensible. Plants arrived in good condition, with a good courier company - not one of the cheap ones that looses your parcel. Very good quality plants, I just need to look after them now. I found the link to houseplant.co.uk in my news feed as a cookie. I was surprised they had an orchid collection. I purchased six orchids. They were absolutely beautiful. One was slightly damaged for which I was offered a gift voucher. I placed another order days later for three more orchids, an orchid book and other orchid care items. Amazing plants! Strong, healthy, beautiful. Delivery on both occasions was literally next day. Skilfully packed so the plants are safe and warm in recyclable paper and cardboard. I was able to get some of the orchids I saw at the Japanese Orchid Festival 2022. This company names their orchids which is a great joy. My plants are thriving. This is the first time that I have ever ordered any house plants online, having been worried in the past about how the plants would survive being posted, but it certainly wont be the last! My wife recently got into house plants in a BIG way. Starting at monsteras and alocasias, it hasn't taken long for her to get into rarer specimens, so I was searching for philodendron pink princess all over the internet. Houseplant.co.uk were not only the cheapest I found, but, after ordering on Monday morning, it arrived Tuesday afternoon in immaculate condition (a distance of at least a few hundred miles)! It was boxed with clear, 'This way up' labels on it and the plant was packed in air bags and bubble wrap - there was even recycled packaging to keep the soil in place during transit. The plant itself was in perfect condition and much bigger than I was expecting. Result? A very happy wife! Thank you so much, Houseplant. You've definitely gained a repeat customer!
